Florida Strawberry Festival
A committee from the First Missionary Baptist Church of Seffner (the church the owners were members of when they developed the sauce) chose Champs Classic to be used in their booth in the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida. Champs Classic was chosen from among a number of sauces and went on to be one of the favorites at the festival. The sauce was eventually bottled to be marketed at the encouragement and prayers of the family’s friends, relatives, and church members, as well as the success of the sauce at the Strawberry Festival. Champs Classic sauce has even been seen in the Mall of America.
